Pilates aims to strengthen the body through controlled movements, with particular focus on core strength. It improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance throughout the body. Classes focus on body alignment, coordination and balance and understanding of the core muscles aiding stability.


Physiotherapist led pilates allows for physiotherapy knowledge and expertise to be applied throughout classes and adaptations to exercises provided as necessary for certain injuries and conditions.
